Experience
Boyd-Barrett writes regularly for the California Health Report and has covered stories on maternal well-being, pregnancy, childhood development, mental health, children with disabilities, and environmental toxins. Her work has been featured in The Los Angeles Times, The Mercury News, San Francisco Chronicle, The Orange County Register and Mother Jones, among other publications.
She's a two-time USC Annenberg Center for Health Journalism fellow and a former Inter American Press Association fellow.
Education
Boyd-Barrett has a bachelor's degree in Spanish and social sciences from the University of Manchester, England, and has a master's degree in journalism from the Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
