About Jane van Dis
Jane van Dis, M.D., is a board-certified ob-gyn and a member of the BabyCenter Medical Advisory Board. She specializes in the care of women in inpatient obstetrics and gynecology.
Experience
Dr. van Dis is clinical faculty and assistant professor at the University of Rochester. She was formerly medical director at MavenClinic. She has served in multiple leadership positions within the field of ob hospitalist medicine and is currently an editor on the Journal of OB Hospitalist Medicine. She also co-founded Equity Metrics and OB Best Practice.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. van Dis serves as an expert legal reviewer, advises multiple start-ups in the maternal health space, works in venture capital, is the co-author of a pregnancy book and an upcoming book on fertility, and is active on social media, including Twitter.
Education
Dr. van Dis completed her ob-gyn residency at the University of California, Los Angeles.
