Safety & Childproofing

Just curious to know if anyone hasn't or didn't childproof??  My best friend basically just said that I suck at parenting if I can't control my son from touching, climbing or getting into things. I've done it as a precaution and for his safety.  She has a 6mo old and does not plan to childproof.

how many of you ladies are childproofing or have childproofed the home?? did you go crazy with it or just do the major items like outlets and furniture? I asked because they had a segment on the news today and I started to get overwhelmed with how big of a task that could be for us. any thoughts are

Hey all! I’m a ftm and I’m wondering when I should start childproofing the house? We’re moving across the country when the baby is one to two months (military family) so I can’t do it all early unfortunately, but I’m wondering when you all started? Any advice is appreciated!
